2014: Make It Better

Make 2014 better than all the years before. Don't stress about making a New Year's resolution(s) that will fade from your memory and life by February. It's a waste of time to tackle, try to, promises, resolutions, that you have no control over.

Start with small steps to making 2014 a better year.

Some people want a new career, for example, in 2014. Begin looking into requirements for the new career. You need to take courses for it? Remove an activity from your life, to free-up time for the new career. Do research about the intended career. Determine how you'll move forward with a list tailored to your needs. There should be more positive than negative reasons for such a move.

Make-up your mind about how to reach into a new career, or goal.

Refuse to be in the company of people who want you to live their way. Don't be afraid to say "no." Live your life.

Separate yourself from people who find fault with you, your goals.

Hug yourself from time to time.

Write in big letters, Yes, I Can. Tape the words on your mirror, desk, computer or wall.

Surround yourself with people that understand you, your goals.

Push self-doubt and fear away. Use the energy to move forward, and never look back.

If you make a mistake, learn from it. Keep moving toward your goal.

Stay motivated. Remind yourself of the reasons for the goal.

Work hard.

Simply, believe in yourself.

2013

Have a question? Agree, disagree, with me? Leave me your opinion. It's a new year, New Year, 2013. Some make resolutions that end-up fizzling out. Most give a strong effort at keeping a new year's resolution, but ignore it as reality checks in. I suggest that resolutions be worked into your life, reality. If, for example, your choice is to visit the gym before work when you already have too many things to do during that time, you have ignored reality. Now, if you make time for the gym by shifting or stop doing certain things to fit in gym time, there's a chance at keeping that New Year's resolution. It's not wise to make a New Year's resolution because it's "in," your friend is doing it or it will look bad if you don't. The choice has to matter to you, your life.

A New Year Means?

Have a question? Agree, disagree,
with me? Leave me your opinion.

12:01-2012

A new year means beginning anew, chance
to move forward and bring new life to
resolutions.

A new year means start-over, try again.
Learn from mistakes and start anew. Is
there a goal you meant to reach but gave-
up on? The plan was to take college level
courses. Only, the economy stopped you.
College courses in 2012?

You're smothering among bad associates. The
only way to do better is change friends and
habits. The opportunity to begin anew is now.

A new year means apply for the job fear has
you afraid to attempt. The stress from not
trying hurts you more. There are two answers
that comes from applying for jobs, yes or no.
Take comfort in the fact that you tried.

No, it's not always easy to move forward. The
key to moving forward is effort, and departing
from things/people that kept you smothering in
wrong or bad circumstances.

Don't waste time blaming or excusing behavior
that ends in one of two options: jail or death.
Slowly with-draw from bad associations. True
change takes years, often. However, toddler step
to positive/productive behavior. Move forward,
perhaps, with the help of a professional.

There's no one to judge how fast or slow moving
forward takes you. Everyone moves forward at their
own pace. Will 2012 be the year you move forward?

You've made resolutions before, but were unable to
keep them. It's time to look at the reasons you're
unable to keep resolutions. The resolution is
impossible for you to do? Try a smaller version of
the resolution.

A resolution to build a house when you're jobless
isn't realistic, for example.

"There's no time to work on a resolution." You said.

Select time, during the day or night, for resolutions.
Look at it as a gift to yourself. The selected time
is used just for resolutions. If necessary, turn-off
the television, radio and cell phone.

"I can't work on my resolution, because of my friends."

Determine if your friends or a resolution, gift to
yourself, is more important.

Life is a matter of choices. Choices as with friends
should be carefully picked.

Finally, a new year allows a new beginning, move
forward and live whole-some resolutions. Ultimately,
choices determines destiny.

New Year- Goals And Resolutions

Have a question? Agree, disagree,
with me? Leave me your opinion.

How To Work On Goals/Resolutions

A new year, 2011, brings new hopes,
dreams and to-do-lists. Don't just
mouth/think goals, resolutions, but
schedule them into your life. Make
time to realize a goal, resolution.

Keep in mind that goals, resolutions,
take time and determination.

Work on a goal to lose weight daily.
Keep track of what you eat, exercise
and cut-back on foods your body can
do without, shouldn't have.

Get a job resolution requires actively
seeking a job. Don't let filled positions
stop you. Apply for the next job, and
look for other available positions.

Your plan is to start a new relationship?
Stop one?

Think about how you'll move on. Some
relationships will not end friendly. Do you
have a place to live after? Is it time to
leave the relationship? A month from now?
Six months?

Some break-ups have to involve law
enforcement. Have everything been arranged
for once you remove yourself from the
relationship?

In my opinion, you need time to yourself,
alone, before starting a new relationship.
You'll need to decide which direction is
best for you. Is there something you've
wanted to do for a long time. Place you
want to see? Pull-out your to-do-lists.

In the new year, 2011, work toward a goal,
resolution, without pressure. Move forward
slowly. No one is timing you. The pace you
use in reaching a goal, resolution, depends
on you, your life-style. Never compare
yourself to a friend or relative. Simply,
keep moving until your goal/resolution is
reached.
